AN EFFECTIVE LAMINATED-DESIGN SYSTEM |
||||||||
![]() Features Excellent Structural Integrity The complete filling of the drainage composites dimples eliminates compressive strength concerns. |

|
The Components:
POSITIVE-SIDE DRAINAGE ECODRAIN-E An extremely tough, yet flexible, non-degrading HDPE drainage composite that comes in 8ft x 65.5ft rolls for easy installation and unique dimple design provides a substrate for the liquid membrane. DETAILING ECOLINE-R A fluid- applied, high bonding, rapid cure, water-based material that is used (with fabric) to treat penetrations, transition joints, and seams. WATERPROOFING ECOLINE-S A spray-applied, high-build, water-based monolithic membrane that is a pliable, bonding gasket in the system. Optional Design: Ecodrain-S installed in chimney stack fashion with scrim fabric installed behind drainage and soil areas to receive spray membrane. |

The Installation Steps:
Step 1 Drainage Start from top of grade and attach ECODRAIN-E to soil dig back at the top flange of drainage mat with appropriate nails or spikes. Overlap drainage mat six-inches at seams by pulling back filter fabric, applying ECOLINE-R, and snapping dimples together. On horizontal seams top sheet should overlap bottom sheet. When earth anchors / soil nails are being used, split drainage mat vertically and slide over the anchor. Step 2 Detailing Treat all seams on back of drainage mat by applying a coat of ECOLINE-R, embedding fabric 3-inches on each side of seam in it and then applying a second coat. Treat all penetrations (including earth anchors) in the same fashion, except applying 6-inches on to the penetration and field with fabric and ECOLINE-R. Treat all transition joints (including pylons/piers) in the same fashion including 6-inches on both surfaces. Scrim (fabric) must be attached to drainage composite and soil pentration being detailed if optional design is used. Step 3 Waterproofing Begin the application of ECOLINE-S from the bottom to top. Spray application should be done in 4ft x 4ft passes to 20-mil build on each pass. One additional pass should be made on all detailed areas to ensure complete coverage and saturation of the fabric. |
