![]() Features Prevents Hydrostatic Water Pressure - The gap design absolutely insures no hydrostatic pressure against the wall. |

The Components:
BASE MEMBRANE-ECOBASE I or II A spray-applied, high-build, exceptionally flexible, monolithic membrane that is the pliable completely bonded substrate waterproofing membrane. EXTERIOR MEMBRANE-ECODRAIN-MS An exceptionally durable yet pliable drainage composite that protects the membrane from other construction damage, while providing drainage and acting as another membrane.. |

The Installation Steps:
Step 1-Detailing Treat all cold joints (both 90 and 180 degree) by applying a coat of ECOLINE-R or T, (A) embedding fabric (B) 3-inches on each side of seam in it and then applying a second coat over the fabric. (Step 1.1) Treat all penetrations (weep pipes, etc.) in the same fashion, except applying 6-inches on to the penetration and field with fabric and ECOLINE-R. (Step 1.2) Fill missing mortar joints with hydraulic cement or rapid set grout. Step 2-Waterproofing Membrane Begin the application of ECOBASE I or II from the bottom to top, always applying to the footer first. Spray application should be done in 4x4 passes to 20-mil build on each pass. All interior 90 degree, cold joints should be built up to a cant strip thickness. At grade line an extra pass should be made to provide a gasket where the ECODRAIN-MS is to be attached. Step 3-Drainage/Protection Course Start from top of grade and attach ECODRAIN-MS, dimples facing wall, to the wall at the top flange of drainage mat with termination bars and appropriate fasteners, through the membrane. Overlap drainage mat 6-inches at seams, applying ECOLINE-R, and snapping dimples together. On horizontal seams top sheet should overlap bottom sheet. |
